Our Penthouse Santa Croce apartment is nestled into the third floor of a traditional Florentine mansion. Located at Borgo Santa Croce, 11, in the spirited district of Santa Croce...

it’s next to the main Piazza and dazzling white marble basilica, and just a leisurely stroll away from Piazza della Signoria’s Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery, scenic Ponte Vecchio and hallmark Piazza Duomo.

Guests can shop fresh daily produce, meats and cheeses at the nearby Sant'Ambrogio market, taste the famous "Lampredotto" from the classic street food stand, or visit the numerous craft shops, restaurants and bars of the local neighborhood. From the large windows or typical terracotta-tiled floors of the private balcony, you can soak in picturesque views of inner courtyards of ancient florentine palaces from the '700s, and the top of Palazzo Vecchio's stunning bell tower. :-)

The apartment is 35 sqm and is composed of a double bedroom; a cozy kitchen with refrigerator and cooking utensils; bathroom with shower and hair-dryer; balcony with table and chairs; and included comforts like heating, air conditioning, TV, towels and bed linens.

Because the accommodation is on the 3rd floor without elevator access, we offer the room at a fair price and are at your service to help you with your luggage.

The apartment was great. Fantastic location. Its about a 20 min walk from the train station. We caught a taxi from the station only cost about 8 euros. Be aware of the 3 flights you have to walk up, but well worth it to have your own balcony. And the view was fantastic! There is a washing machine (great on a long trip). Most of the kitchen meant you could cater for yourself, just missing a few things like a decent knife and chopping board, salt and pepper etc... The room was quiet and bed very comfortable. We would stay here again if we come back to Florence!
