» How to reach us

Our main building and office (open from Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 6p.m.) faces Via Calzaiuoli, one of the two most prestigious streets in Florence. You will find the building's entrance just around the corner in Via della Condotta n°16 blue, nestled among the bakeries, trattorias, restaurants, small shops, banks, pharmacies, and post office that characterize this neighborhood. From here, you can easily reach traditional markets such as San Lorenzo and Sant'Ambrogio, where you can buy food and traditional Florentine wares. All of the main museums, such as the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries, Pitti Palace and the Bargello, are within easy walking distance. Along with the apartments located in the same building as our office, our other apartments are all within short walking distance.

How to reach us:

1. By train/On foot:

Trains arriving from Venice, Bologna, Rome, Milan, and Pisa will take you directly to Santa Maria Novella train station. From here, you can take a taxi if you have heavy luggage, or reach us on foot if you don't. If you do decide to walk, we're located just 10-12 minutes distance from the station, a wonderful walk through amazing streets and squares: from the station, take Via dè Cerretani until you arrive in Piazza San Giovanni (the square of the Cathedral, also known as Piazza del Duomo). Turn right and enter in Via Calzaiuoli, in the direction of Piazza della Signoria. The sixth street on your left is Via della Condotta.

There is also an Electric bus C2 leaving from Piazza dell'Unità, the square diagonally across the street from Santa Maria Novella station (with a large obelisk in the center), which will bring you to Via della Condotta, 2 metres from our entrance door.

2. By car:

Please note the following information:
Our address at Signoria Apartments is: Via della Condotta 16/blue (just behind Piazza della Signoria)

Please be informed that the Historic Center of Florence is regulated by a law called the municipal traffic control ZTL (limited traffic area). Signoria Apartments has an agreement with nearby GARAGE DEL BARGELLO so that you can enter easily in the ZTL area without taking any fines. Just remember to tell the garage staff upon your arrival which street you entered through.

We suggest a paid parking garage which is a 10 minute walk from our building:

The cost is €25 for small and medium size cars and €35 - €40 for larger cars for one 24 hour day.

Once at the garage, if available, the garage staff will be happy to bring you to the apartments with your car for free.

3. By plane:

The Florence Airport, Amerigo Vespucci, is approximately 20 minutes distance by taxi or by shuttle bus service.
The shuttle bus will take you from the airport to Santa Maria Novella station or vice-versa.

How to get around in Florence:

Florence is a small city and you can easily visit the center and surroundings on foot. When the weather is not too hot, it is possible to rent a bicycle for a trip up to Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy the beautiful views of the city. If you intend to leave the historical city center, be aware of car drivers!
